Overview | A wide range of MagniSolv™Nitric acid is a colorless to yellow, corrosive, fuming liquid with a sharp, acrid odor. It is a strong mineral acid and powerful oxidizing agent. Fuming or concentrated nitric acid may appear yellow or red due to nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) dissolved in it. It reacts violently with many materials and is used widely in chemical manufacturing, metallurgy, and explosives. It causes severe burns on contact and produces toxic fumes. |
Product Information
Nitric acid is a highly corrosive, strong oxidizing mineral acid used in fertilizers, metal processing, and chemical synthesis. It reacts violently with organics and causes severe chemical burns. Requires strict handling protocols with full PPE and ventilation.
